Balboa Park Engagement Session

Annika and Billy are planning a bigger wedding next month, but they wanted to set aside time to commemorate getting their marriage license and starting this next chapter of their life together! I may be biased, but I think it's a perfect reason for a shoot. It's also a good way to practice being in front of the camera before their wedding day!

We found inspiration in modern editorials, which mesh so perfectly with Balboa's architecture. Annika styled both of their outfits with Balboa in mind: minimalist, modern, and chic. We walked to a quiet spot at the Museum of Us, where they doted on each other, giggled together, and struck those editorial poses for the camera.
